Product Care
High temperature (ex.90°C) is not advisable for any fabric.
Use chloride only when fabric and embroidery are white. Always follow the instructions on the label.
Do not use chloride in delicate fabrics (silk, organdie etc.) even if they are white. Use neutral detergents for the frail fabrics (silk, organdies etc.) Whiteners are preferred to chloride detergents which destroy the fibers of tissues.
When hand washing, do not place the detergent directly onto the fabric but ensure liquid soaps are diluted and powder soaps completely dissolved before you start washing.
For machine washing in low temperatures liquid detergents are preferable. Wringing by washing-machine should be done at a low speed.
Linen should be hung out immediately after washing. The dark colors fade after repeated washings. Linen should be hanged out immediately after their washing up.
Drying Line drying is ideal for leaving your laundry fresh and almost crease-free. Ironing
Washing and drying linen properly will help eliminate creasing and make ironing easier. Iron table linen and bed linen for best results, whilst still slightly damp, using a steam iron. If linen has become bone-dry, we advise re-damping it before ironing. Pay particular attention to borders and hems on linen. To give a super crisp finish, use spray starch when ironing. Always iron the corners of table linen and bed linen the same way as a shirt collar from the outside inwards to avoid corner creasing. If the item is embroidered, iron this area on the reverse side. |
